I know I matter exactly none amount to GM and their marketing department, but part of what made the Corvette great was that it could put down great performance but without Eurobeat vibe. Im sure it will be amazing, but they’ve gotten less and less interesting to me starting with the C6 ZL1

OK help me understand this, when the Corvette moves to the C8 platform in 2020 (supposedly) do all the variants move to the MR layout or will there be any Corvette still in the FR layout?

From what I can gather the first couple years there will be both. After that it’s up in the air if the “old” corvette will get updated. Some speculation that the MR layout will be a model above Corvette so you’ll have the normal one continuing on and getting update while the high end one remains top dog.

this leaves a giant gap with the Camaro ss for a lower level corvette. Though the question is the market really be big enough to support two?
